I wish there were a politer way to say this but they haven't made a decent album since the first one, so I have a hard time seeing it as all that much of a loss. Though I say this w/o having seen them live, which apparently was a different deal altogether.
ya, i get the sense that the fun of it might have left after the first album, and then it was more about continuing a thing that got blown way up. and then it birthed all those *other* feminist dance punk bands...sigh. will we look back and laugh? i hope so.
The parts I liked on the last album (which I may have dug more than Feminist Sweepstakes, actually), involved Kath's voice, so I'm still pretty curious to see what she'll do next.
