Columbia has found it in their hearts to give me a grant to go to Prague this summer to study language and do a little work and research. I'll be gone the last week in July and most of August, planning weekend trips to Poland and maybe up to the UK at the end. I'm ridiculously excited, and also thrilled to find out that the Plastic People of the Universe are playing Joe's Pub on May 22. If there are any PPotU fans in the NYC music issue reading world, hit me back cause I need a concert buddy.
